What to do, however if you find your wardrobe needs some tweaking in the style department? Follow these tips and you will surely become a fabulous local fashionista to watch!
- Don’t be afraid of prints or detailing on fabric!
One way to instantly refresh your wardrobe is by using funky or trendy prints like a tie dye or ombre print, whether in a neutral, pastel, or vibrant color. Pretty detailing on fabrics, like lace, a perforated style, faux buttons, devore (burnout texture or pattern), or a colorful paisley or geometric (a la Pucci) print, also add unique twists.
- Add pops of color, don’t be afraid!
Skirts and dresses are a wonderfully cool way to beat the heat, with the midi and maxi lengths being very chic. Try cooler fabrics like cotton. Styles can be dressed up or down with jewelry, a fabulous clutch, or a gorgeous pair of sandals.
- Don’t forget about warm weather accessories like the perfect pair of shades, a great hat to block the sun, or a cute pair of shoes!
Consider aviator or cat eye shaped shades, an oversized floppy straw hat for the beach or cool fedora for breezing about town, and wedges or strappy / gladiator sandals.
- Try a different silhouette!
A one-piece romper or jumpsuit either in a version featuring shorts or pants, can be an effortless look. It can be simply worn or dressed up with accessories. A great yet simple, transitional look from day to evening.
- Be fitted for a properly fitting bathing suit!
A properly fitting suit can make all the difference in enhancing your figure or masking pesky problem areas. Prints and colors can work in your favor!
