|Alaska season is upon us and what better way for us to celebrate than with a new ship built with this incredible destination in mind. The Norwegian Bliss celebrated her official Inaugural on June 2, when she began her first of many 7 night sailings from Seattle every week through September 22. She is the largest ship to call on this market with port calls in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria, BC. A 3 night Denali express pre-cruise tour is also available.
Steve and I had the great fortune of getting a sneak peak when she briefly stopped in New York on her way over from Europe. She is simply spectacular! The Bliss offers some incredible and unique features such as an expansive observation deck (yes, the ENTIRE deck with floor-to-ceiling glass enclosure), 27 dining options including Q, the only barbecue at sea, a full-service retail Starbucks (it DOES sail from Seattle, after all!), one of Broadway’s best musicals Jersey Boys and, a Cavern Club with Beatles Tribute Band, Margaritaville at Sea and the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar, where every hour is happy hour. And of course, the Only Two-Level Racetrack at sea!
For the 2019 Alaska season Bliss will be cruising the popular Glacier Bay. We have space reserved aboard the 8/18/19 sailing date (space is capacity controlled and subject to availability), so contact us if you’re interested in booking. Here’s the itinerary:

Are you excited? Well, chill out a bit (see what I did there with an Alaska reference?!) before the BEST news; Norwegian Bliss will sail from New York for one season beginning November 2019 through April 2020! When the Alaska season concludes, Norwegian Bliss will make her way to Miami for 7 night sailings to the Eastern Caribbean. But not before a few Mexican Riviera sailings and a jaunt through the Panama Canal (she’s the largest vessel to ever sail through the new locks).
